With over 50 years of experience, Howard Ferree has grown up in the building business, learning the value of customer service and quality work. He specialized in custom residential construction as well as additions, renovations, alterations and restorations, both in western and eastern North Carolina
A 4th generation builder Howard Ferree has been in the building business his entire life. He served as President of the Asheville Home Builder Association in 2006. Ferree Construction won the Griffin Award presented by the Asheville Preservation Society in 2002 and the Asheville Parade of Homes in 2007 and 2008. Howard and his wife Terry have been married for over 40 years. They have two grown children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law and five grandchildren. Howard has recently stepped back to retire in 2024. He is enjoying is endless weekend and still steps into the office here and there to see how things are going.
Brian Ferree | OWNER
Howards son Brian Ferree, has also grown up in the building business, learning the value of customer service and quality work. He has taken over the day to day operations of the business and focused in on giving his customers the best experience possible. He is a 5th generation builder with 20+ years of experience in the business and has continued to run the business with the same level of excellence that Ferree Construction customers have grown used to.
Brian is married to Jo, his wife of 17 years and the designer responsible for many of the furnished pictures in our gallery. Together they have 3 daughters who don’t care about building houses at all. : )
